Blowing warm air, weak airflow, or frozen into a block of ice? A West Valley home without cooling in summer is not something to wait on. We diagnose the actual failure the same day and quote the repair upfront, before we touch anything.

The system loses its ability to absorb heat, so it runs constantly but never cools. We find and fix the leak, not just recharge it.
A common, affordable failure that stops the compressor or fan from starting on a hot afternoon.
Usually caused by a dirty filter, blocked airflow, or low refrigerant. The coil turns to ice and airflow drops off.
Caked with monsoon dust, the outdoor unit cannot shed heat, so cooling fades in the worst afternoon heat.
The outdoor unit loses power while the indoor fan keeps running, so you feel air movement but no cooling.
The heart of the system. When it goes, we give you an honest repair-or-replace answer on the same visit.
If the basics do not fix it, or the house is climbing past a safe temperature, call us. Running a system that is frozen or low on refrigerant can turn a small repair into a compressor replacement, so it is worth getting a technician out quickly.
For after-hours breakdowns, see our 24/7 emergency AC repair. For the full range of fixes, see AC repair and AC compressor repair. If it is time for a new system, see AC replacement.
The most common causes are low refrigerant from a leak, a failed capacitor or contactor, a frozen evaporator coil, a dirty condenser, or a tripped breaker on the outdoor unit. When the outdoor compressor is not running but the indoor fan is, you get air movement without cooling. We diagnose the actual cause on site and quote the repair before we start.
A few quick things are safe to check: make sure the thermostat is set to cool and below room temperature, replace a clogged air filter, confirm the breakers for both the indoor and outdoor units are on, and check that the outdoor unit is not iced over or buried in debris. If it is frozen, turn the system to fan-only to let it thaw. If none of that fixes it, give us a call.
A frozen evaporator coil usually comes from restricted airflow (a dirty filter or blocked return) or low refrigerant from a leak. Running a frozen system can damage the compressor, so switch it to fan-only to thaw the ice, then call us. We find the underlying cause rather than just recharging refrigerant into a system that is leaking.
We offer same-day service on most no-cool calls across the West Valley and target a two-hour response on true summer emergencies, with no overtime markup for evenings or weekends. Our trucks carry common parts, so many repairs are finished on the first visit.
If the system is under about 12 years old and the repair costs less than roughly a third to half of a replacement, repair is usually the right call. If it is older, on phased-out R-22 refrigerant, or failing repeatedly, we give you an honest replacement estimate on the same visit. Because no one here works on commission, that recommendation is based on your equipment, not a sales target.
